The game, which is a spin-off in the series, and was originally intended to serve as a promo for Fallout 4, quickly became popular amongst mobile gamers.

Fallout Shelter made its way on to PCs back in June 2016, in the form of Bethesda.net game, with its own launcher. Then it was released for the Xbox One back in February 2017, alongside a Windows 10 version. Naturally, not everyone could play it on their PCS, unless you had the very latest version of Windows (not counting the Bethesda.net version).

Steam gamers can rejoice today, as Fallout Shelter is now available for their beloved platform. And yes it does work on Windows 7, but you will need a 64-bit PC to play the game.
