Apple has begun seeding iOS 11.1 to public beta testers, shortly after releasing it for developers. This signifies its imminent arrival for all existing devices on iOS 11.0.2.
So what exactly is new in iOS 11.1. Well, the update will bring over 200 new emojis including pie, pretzels, fortune cookie, vomiting face and more. It also brushes up existing emoji with new designs such as the bee, snail, octopus, whale and the dolphin.

Besides that you can expect some bug fixes, but there is a returning feature, 3D Touch App Switcher. The multi-tasking pressure-sensitive gesture which was introduced with the iPhone 6S, was initially removed from iOS 11, but after users complained it is being added back.
iPads already have a multi-tasking option in iOS 11, thanks to the new dock and App Switcher (in the Control Center screen). So it is only fair iPhone users get something to multi-task.
Apple has already stopped signing iOS 10.3.3, the last version of iOS 10, which has left many users fuming after they found they could no longer downgrade from iOS 11. I will admit the battery performance is not good in iOS 11 (as it was in 10), but apart from that I have not expected any major bugs.
