Ubisoft is giving away two games, on Uplay this month. The first is the RTS game, World in Conflict.
It is kind of like Company of Heroes, but it involves real-time tactics. Basically you will be micro-managing the units more. And there is no base building, but you can airdrop reinforcements.
The version being given away is World in Conflict Complete Edition, which includes the base game, World in Conflict and the expansion, Soviet Assault. Open the Uplay client on your PC, and you should see a banner, which says "Get World in Conflict for free". Then click on OK to bind the game permanently to your library, and you can download it right away, or anytime you want to. The game is about 6GB to download.
You can get World in Conflict Complete Edition for free until December 11th, 2017 (10 AM UTC).
That's not all, Ubisoft has announced it will be giving away another game, next week. And that game, is Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. This giveaway is to honor the tenth anniversary of the first Assassin’s Creed game
This game involves a lot of combat on the sea, including pirate battles, as well as land based combat, which makes the game pretty interesting. But a lot of the franchise's fans believe it is a great game, just not a great AC game. We will update you next week, when we see the Black Flag on a ship. Arrr!
