Motorola's newest budget phone Moto G5, which was launched in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold, could be available in another colour soon. To be more specific, in Blue Sapphire as seen in the pictures below.
The leaked pictures, courtesy of German blogger Roland Quandt, reveal a spectacular looking variant of the phone.
According to the leaker’s tweets, the phone may be launched in Russia and also in the UK as an O2 exclusive. Whether we can expect the phone in other Countries is a mystery, The Moto G5 Plus has become quite popular in India, but the Moto G5 was not launched here. We can definitely see the Blue Sapphire edtiion selling like hot cakes if it does get launched here. That is considering that this is a very rare colour when it comes to phones, regardless of the budget range. Speaking of which, the HTC U Ultra has a Sapphire coloured variant, but that phone is a bit brighter in colour and a has a glossy feel, which makes the Moto G5 Plus a better one. You can see the Moto G5 Plus Blue Sapphire Edition here:
There are a few differences between the Moto G5 Plus and this Blue Sapphire edition. The latter seems to have a single LED flash as opposed to the dual LED flash on the one we have, and there is no camera bump or ring around the Blue Sapphire’s camera. So, perhaps this is a different variant of the phone.
If you are wondering whether to buy the Moto G5 Plus, we have uploaded a set of unboxing photos of the Moto G Fine Gold variant, and some camera samples from the phone, which may help you decide with your purchase.
