Surviving Mars, the city builder sim game from Paradox Interactive, is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is set on the red planet, and is an RTS made by Haemimont Games, the creators of Tropico 3-5.
It is kind of a sci-fi version of Sim City or the Settlers, and requires you to manage your colony on Mars. You have to provide food, manage the air supply, and take care of the necessities of each colonist by building various facilities.
Speaking of which, every colonist has their own unique persona, i.e., they are simulated individually, which will define their behaviour, and in turn their impact on the job they work on, which will directly affect your colony’s survival and progress.
There are three editions of Surviving Mars: one which is the base game. The Surviving Mars Deluxe Edition adds forum icons, a digital art book, metropolis set (themes for buildings), an extra in-game radio station, and some wallpapers.
The Surviving Mars First Colony Edition includes all the content from the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Season Pass, which will include future DLC which will be added to the game.
Surviving Mars is available on Steam for Rs. 899 in India, $39.99 in the US, and you will get a 10% discount if you already own Cities: Skylines. This offer is only valid till March 31st 2018.
