Want to play Harvest Moon on PC? Your wish is granted. Stardew Valley has officially been released for Windows PCs.
The game which was inspired by the classic farm sim game, is now available on Steam, GOG and Humble Bundle.
The story is simple and identical to Harvest Moon games, you have inherited a farm (your grandfather’s farm), and you will have toolds to make it into a profitable farm. You will be able to raise animals, grow crops,orchard, craft useful machines, make friends with NPCs, build a house, start a family, level up skills (farming, mining, combat, fishing, and foraging), explore caves and more.

The game does have retro-ish sprites, which should bring nostalgic memories to many a Nintendo gamer. Time to fire up a GBA/N64 emulator and play HM again?

- Graphics: 256mb video memory, shader model 3.0+

Stardew Valley is now available on Steam for $14.99 (Rs 479 in India). If you wish to get the DRM-Free version of Stardew Valley, you can buy it from GOG, for the same price. You can also buy Stardew Valley from Humble Bundle for $14.99.
It would have been nice if the game had a launch sale to attract more gamers. especially considering that this genre is very unique.
