Apple have released an update for iOS which takes it to version 7.1.1.
It is not a major update by any means, and focuses on performance improvements, bug fixes and some security updates.
Prior to this update, the iPhone 5 had some issues in recognizing fingerprints on the device, this has been fixed in iOS 7.1.1. The iOS Keyboard app has been tweaked to be more responsive. And lastly, Bluetooth keyboards with the VoiceOver feature enabled, should now work fine.
The update is available for the following devices:
- iPhone 4 or later
- iPad 2 or later
- iPad mini or later
- iPod touch (5th generation)
Navigate to your device’s Settings > General, and select Software Update, to download the OTA update. The update is just 18.8 MB in size.
