Microsoft will begin to rollout the Windows 8.1 update for Lumia devices begin. You may update your phone to get all the new features of Windows 8.1 like
Cortana – A personal assistant like Siri in iPhone
Add extra column of tiles on the start screen
Set background for the start screen
Burst mode – Which allows to capture multiple photos with one click
Automatic arrangement of photos by date, location
Word flow keyboard – A better keyboard which allows you to write by gliding your finger over the letters.
Action center – all notifications together for easier access
It is expected that Nokia will be rolling out the update for the high end devices like Lumia 1020, Lumia 1050 first. The other devices like Lumia 520, 620 , 720 may have to wait more to get the update.
Nokia is rolling out the Cyan update also which offers Better nokia camera, story teller app and more
