Yesterday I have downloaded and installed Windows 8 Developer Preview to a virtual machine. You can see few screen shots below
Left most screen shows Lock screen of Windows 8 (it is like my Samsung Galaxy S2 Lock screen)
You can use the Windows live account to login.
Tiles will work fine in touch enabled devices
