Test your computer resources

Load test

Heavyload is intended to stress all resources of a PC (the CPU, RAM, hard disk, network, operating system, etc.) in order to test reliability under a heavy load. This is useful for testing important MS Windows file or database servers before using them for production, or just to check if your new PC might get too hot when used intensively. To stress your PC or server, HeavyLoad writes a large test-file to the temp folder, it allocates physical and virtual memory, perform complex calculations and it draws patterns in its window.

If the program  is hanged or not properly stopped, the file created will be there in your hard disk. To find the file

  • Start menu => Run
  • type %Temp% and Enter
  • There will be a big file name will be starting with jam, delete that file.

Also you may have to reboot your machine since the page file size will also be big.

Download zip file

download exe file

Check jam softwares they have few more freewares.

Memory Test

MemTest is a RAM reliability tester that runs under Windows. It evaluates the ability of your computer's memory to store and retrieve data accurately.  A correctly functioning computer should be able to do both these tasks with 100% accuracy day in and day out. A computer that fails these tests, perhaps because of old hardware, damaged hardware, or poorly configured hardware, will be less stable and crash more often. Even worse, it will become even less stable over time as corrupted data is written to your hard disk.

No need to install, just unzip the file and run the exe file (Delete the folder to remove it from your machine)
