Sony announced the latest Xperia mobile, M4 aqua in India.
The phone will have a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. Processor of Sony Xperia M4 Aqua will be 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor featuring octa-core (Quad core 1.5 Ghz and Quad core 1Ghz) and Adreno 405 GPU. The phone will be coming with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It will have 2GB of RAm with 8GB/16GB of internal storage. It supports up to 128Gb of microSD card.
One of the most attractive feature of this phone is its waterproof and dustproof design. The company claims you can click photos even under water (up t0 1.5 meter and for 30 minutes.)
Regarding camera M4 aqua will have a 13 mega pixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS mobile sensor with a large F2.0 aperture, and ISO 3200 sensitivity. The front camera will be a 5MP with super wide angle lens (88° field of view). The camera comes with Superior Auto mode which can automatically choose the scene.
The battery will be a 2400mAh, and the company claims to have a two days battery backup if you enable the Battery Stamina mode of the phone.
M4 Aqua supports 4G LTE network connectivity
The phone will be available in 3 colors: White, Black and Coral.
Price of the phone will be INR 24,990 and will be available from 26th May, 2015. Xperia M4 Aqua will be available at Sony Centers, Sony Smartphone Lounges and all major electronic stores across India.
