He was discharged from the hospital today, and this is what his manager had to say:
"Michael has left the CHU Grenoble to continue his long phase of rehabilitation. He is not in a coma anymore,"
The news has already spread around the globe, and the German Football team sent him their wishes today, from their World Cup camp in Brazil. Apart from his skills behind the wheel, Schumacher is well known for his love for Football. He even played in a lot of charity matches.
Schumacher had retired from F1 racing in 2006 after tasting success with Ferrari, and returned to the sport in 2008, signing with the Mercedes team. He was unable to reproduce the success of his racing career, and retired in 2012.
Schumi will now continue his rehabilitation, in an undisclosed location, away from the press and the public.
