Samsung announced a portable Solid state drive T3, an external SSD which wil have a storage capacity up to 2 Terra Bytes and is equipped with Vertical NAND (V-NAND) and SSD TurboWrite technology.
The available capacities will be 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB. The drive comes with sequential read/write speeds of up to 450 megabytes per second (MB/s) with a USB 3.0 super speed interface, that is almost 4 times faster than the external HDDs. The responsiveness is as fast as internal SSD with random read/write speed, that is around 240 times faster than external HDD.

The device will also have 256 bit hardware encryption, and it is easy to set a password and protect your data from unwanted access.
Samsung SSD T3 will be compatible with devices like Android Smart phones, Tablets, TVs, PCs etc. as it will using exFAT file system which a widely accepted one. The SSD will be compatible with USB 3.1 and USB 2.0, while you will bet optimum performance on USB 3.1.
T3 will be coming with a 3 Year warranty and will be available in the market by the end of March 2016.
