Samsung Galaxy S8 working unit leaked in a video

We are precisely 1 week away from the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8, on March 29th. But that doesn’t mean the leaks have to stop, right? Leakers definitely think so, and here is a video of a working unit of the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Samsung Galaxy S8 video

Before you watch the video hosted on YouTube, you have to know that the uploader (originally someone on Weibo), unfortunately shot the video in 360p, which means it is of terrible quality. The video is also just 8 seconds long, so you may have to loop it to see the device in action. Still you can get a good look at the Galaxy S8 and its bezel less screen. And it does look amazing. To be honest it does make the Galaxy S7 Edge look like it has huge bezels, which is something I never thought I would say. The design is sure to win the hearts of users, well it did win mine.

The user in the video seems to wake the Samsung Galaxy S8 with the power button on the left edge and does swipe the screen to unlock the device. Why he didn’t unlock the phone with the fingerprint scanner, is a mystery. But you can see the onscreen square home button in the video too. The rear panel of the phone appears to be a fingerprint magnet, as it is full of smudges, but it is nothing a simple case can’t fix, right?
