Red Dead Redemption 2 has a new trailer, and the video looks nothing short of a classic western movie. We already know that the game will feature multiplayer, and that RDR 2 will be released in Spring 2018 (March to June).
According to the second trailer, the game is a prequel to the original Red Dead Redemption, and sees the player take the role of the outlaw Arthur Morgan (pictured above). He is part of the Van der Linde gang featuring Dutch (from RDR). The story will see them rob, fight, steal in the rugged American lands. Morgan is not Marston, he is clearly a villain-ish rogue with
The trailer indicates new weapons like bows, dual pistols and returning weapons like the lasso, hunting knife, etc. It also has alligators, train robberies, various climates including snowy mountains, desert, forest, and bayous (swamps). The characters can swim in RDR 2
And before you ask if Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released for PC, let me tell you there is no real sign of it from Rockstar Games, at least for now.
The pre-order website shows the game will be available for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One.
