What are the differences between Planescape torment and the Enhanced Edition.

The EE has bug fixes for issues reported in the old version. It also has remastered music, and supports 4K resolutions. Area Zooming, combat log, quick loot, tab highlighting are some of the features in the Enhanced edition.  Character creation wise, you can change the class, alignment, etc. Refer to the full FAQ on Beamdog’s website. Speaking of which. Beamdog even went so far to mention they have not added new part members, quests , NPCs, etc, in Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition. This is after the backlash they received after messing up Baldur's gate with the poor and so-called new additions.

We have seen many enhanced editions of games offered for free at least temporarily, when they were released.  Notable examples include Skyrim Enhanced Edition, BioShock Remastered Edition, Titan Quest Anniversary Edition to name a few. But unfortunately you won't get Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition for free, if you own the original game.

Is Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition worth buying?

While we are aware of the bugs which Beamdog's Enahanced Editions of the Baldur's Gate games were prone to upon launch, you should know that the issues were fixed later. On that note, and as fans of the original game, we give the Enhanced Edition a nod of approval. Also, the early reviews say that the game is bug free for the most part. So, take of that what you will.

You can buy Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition for Windows from Steam (for Rs. 565) $20 or the DRM-Free version from GOG for the same price. Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition for iOS costs (Rs.800 ) $10 on the App Store and the Android version available from the Google Play Store (Rs. 650) carries a similar price tag.

Those are very fair prices considering that the game can give you over 50 hours worth of entertainment.
