As the Raksha Bandhan holiday approaches and so does the Independence day, many companies are finding this as a right time to launch their products. Recently it has been spotted that the Nokia Lumia 530 is up for pre-order. Microsoft thinks that the thrid week of August is the right time to launch this device.
It may come as a surprise to many but this time Lumia 530 is up for preorder on Snapdeal instead of on Flipkart. The phone seems to be sold by a Gurgoan based retailer called Gurgaon Bazar. Currently it is showing as sold out, which means pre-booking has closed. We need to wait and see whether the retailer really is selling the 530 or not. The retailer seems to have a good 3.6 reputation at Snapdeal. You can check the listing here.
The Nokia Lumia 530 is another budget handset by Microsoft and the Indian version features Dual-sim capabilities. The colours available are White, grey, green and orange. The specifications of this phone includes a quad core Snapdragon 200, with a slightly disappointing 512MB RAM. It comes with Windows 8.1 and all the new features including Cortana. The phone also ships with Microsoft Office for mobile and Nokia here maps. It seems a good buy for new smart-phone users and budget Windows phone lovers. It should be priced for about 8000-9000INR if I am to guess. The retailer says it will start shipping in the 3rd week of August which is next week. Happy holidays guys.
