The story of Shadow of War, is based on JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, and takes place after the events of its predecessor. The game will feature the same heroes, Talion the ranger and wraith of the Elf Lord Celebrimbor. The story sees the two forging a new ring of power to rival The Dark Lord Sauron. The player will be able to gather his own army to combat that of Mordor, to go at war with the hordes of Sauron and his Ringwraiths. The game will still have the nemesis system, which will allow enemy captains and soldiers to become stronger when they defeat the player.
