Microsoft has launched two new Lumia phones, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The first of the two, is the Lumia 640. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim.
It sports a 5” HD Display, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and offers better readability in Sunlight, as well as the Glance Screen feature. It has 8GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded to 128 GB via a microSD card. In terms of cameras, there is an 8 Megapixel camera with LED flash on the rear, and a 1 Megapixel front camera.
It packs a 2500 mAH battery, and supports 3G and 4G LTE networks.

The Lumia 640 has been priced at $155 (approx Rs. 9,600) for the Dual SIM 3G variant, and at $180 (approx Rs.11,000) for the 4G LTE enabled variant, which also comes with Dual SIM.
Lumia 640 XL
The Lumia 640 XL is a phablet, which sports a 5.7” HD Display, and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It has 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB.
A 13 Megapixel camera and LED flash adorns the rear, while the front camera is a 5 Megapixel wide angle lens. It packs a 3,000 maH battery and comes in 3G and 4G LTE variants.

The Lumia 640 XL has been price at $210 (approx Rs. 13,000) for the Dual SIM 3G variant, while the 4G LTE variant which also has Dual SIM, costs $245 (approx Rs. 15,000).
Microsoft is also offering a one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal for free for every Lumia 640 and 640 XL.
