Instagram the social media which allows you to share photos and small videos now will support longer videos. As of now you can share a video with 3 seconds to 15 seconds duration. Instagram posted on their blog that they will be supporting 60 second videos in the near future. This feature is not yet active for all users but will be available soon.
In the last six months, the time people spent watching video increased by more than 40 percent. And longer videos mean more diverse stories from the accounts you love
Instagram also says that , iOS users will be able to create videos by joining multiple videos from the camera roll. You can trim add effects etc. too.
Longer video on Instagram begins rolling out today (March 29. 2016) and will be available for everyone in the coming months. Multi-clip video is available this week as part of Instagram for iOS version 7.19
