When Mukesh Ambani announced the plans and features of the latest 4G only mobile network in India named JIO the share price of Airtel and Idea went down. BSNL is yet to announce any 3G or 4G plans to their customers, but they announced a broadband plan with a rent of just RS. 249. In this plan user will get 300GB of data transfer at a rate up to 2MBPS. that is less than 1 INR /GB.

Airtel came up with a plan where user will have to pay INR 1498 ahead and which will give you a validity of 1 Year. After that you will get 1GB of 3G/4G data for just Rs. 51. You can charge this for any number of time. So let us have a comparison with JIO plan with RS 499 with this
INR 1498/Year as advance that is around INR 125/month, and after that you can get 1GB of 3G /4G data for just Rs.51. When you compare it with the INR 499 plan of JIO you will get more than 7GB of data for INR 499 (4GB only in Jio). One thing which will make the difference will be the Free Unlimited Calls and SMS on the Reliance.
A similar plan with initial payment of INR 748 is also there on Airtel, which will give only 6 months validity and for Data it will be INR 99/GB.
