Huawei Porsche Design Mate 9 with 5.5 2K Dual Curved display, Dual Leica Cameras, Kirin 960 Soc, 4GB RAM launched

A few minutes ago, we reported that the Huawei Mate 9 was launched, at an event in Berlin. Huawei has partenered with camera manufacturer Leica, and car manufacturer Porsche, to unveil a higher end variant of the phablet, called the Huawei Porsche Design Mate 9. The phone has two key features, one is the dual rear camera lens, and the other is the display.

The Porsche Design Mate 9 sports a 5.5-inch 1440p 2K IPS dual Curved AMOLED display (similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge). The display has a pixel density of 534ppi, 100% Color gamut, and a high contast ratio of 70000:1. The phone’s specifications are similar to that of the MAte 9 except for the memory which is 6GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage (not expandable) and a front facing fingerprint scanner.
