Halo Wars Definitive Edition has been released on Steam. It's finally here folks, one of the best RTS (considering not many RTS games are released anymore), is available for Windows PCs.
After a short time of exclusivity for Windows Store, and by that I mean Windows 10, Microsoft has launched the computer port of its console game which was released about 8 years ago. The game features a variety of units and vehicles, including the beloved Warthog, from the Halo franchise. Refer our previous coverage of the game for more information on the system requirements for Halo wars DE.
Is Halo Wars Definitive Edition worth buying?
That depends on what you are looking for. If single player campaign is your choice, you should know that there are just 15 scenarios in the game. But there are different maps and modes you can sill play against the AI. If online multiplayer is what you are looking for, yes it is worth it.
Halo Wars Definitive Edition costs Rs 574 in India ($20 in the U.S) on Steam, and the price is absolutely fair. It might get a little cheaper in the 2017 Steam Summer Sale, which will be held next month though. Early reviews of Halo Wars Definitive Edition are very positive. So we are hoping that this positive reception is taken into account, and Microsoft will consider releasing Halo Wars 2 on Steam as well.
