I was using Open DNS, as my DNS and today changed to Google Public DNS.
You can use DNS service other than your ISP provider just because their servers having a large cache the domain name resolving will be much faster. Also it is safer too. You can read the security benefits here.
So it will be better to change to Open DNS or Google Public DNS.
