GTA V PC version could be released on March 12th, says a Brazilian Retailer

Rockstar Games’ latest title in the GTA franchise could be heading to PCs soon.

Grand Theft Auto V came out on 17th September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX 360.

The open world game franchise went third person style with the release of GTA III in 2002, has a huge fan following amongst gamers Worldwide.

Not all versions of Grand theft Auto did make it to all platforms though. While GTA Vice City, San Andreas and GTA IV were released for PCs, GTA Liberty City Stories, Vice city Stories were exclusive to the PSP, and Chinatown Wars was released for PSP, Nintendo DS and iOS devices only.

Rockstar irked PC fans when they did not acknowledge the release date of the Windows version of GTA V last year when they launched the console versions. In fact, they did not even confirm whether a PC version of the game would be released. This has even led to a petition being filed on Change.org asking for the same.

However it appears that a PC version would be released soon. Thiago Diniz, the CEO of Brazilian Nuveem has apparently leaked the launch date of the PC version of GTA V. He had spoken to a Brazilian website called Codigo Fonte, and said that the game would be launched for PCs on March 12, 2014, and would differ greatly from the console versions.

Rockstar have not commented on this yet.
