Last year for the Diwali Flipkart introduced Big Billion Day, which received so many criticism including fake discount, fake offers, automatic cancellation of order, server crashes etc. This year also Flipkart will be conducting the Big billion day. This year the offer will be from October 13 – 17. As we discussed earlier Flipkart is moving offers and products to the mobile application only. This Big Billion Day Sale also will be available exclusively on the Flipkart mobile app.
“India shops the most during this time of the year. With over 75 percent of traffic coming via mobile, we expect this app only sale to be the biggest shopping event of the year. Bigger and better as compared to last year, we have worked towards ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers,” Head of Commerce Platform, Flipkart & Chairman – Myntra, Mukesh Bansal said.
The categories available with these offers will be mobiles, laptops, toys, large appliances, jewelry, watches, and furniture.
So as we said Flipkart is getting one more step to increase the mobile app users.
