FIFA has officially unveiled the Logo of the World Cup 2018 Russia.
But it wasn’t unveiled in the Country’s Capital City, Moscow.
If you had a million guesses as to which place on Earth it was unveiled at, you would have them all wrong. It was literally Out of this World. That’s right, it was unveiled in Space. More specifically, aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The logo was presented on Russia’s TV Chanel One on Wednesday. The inspiration behind the logo was The Country’s rich artistic tradition, it’s history of bold achievement and innovation, and also it’s work in Space.
“The shape of the Official Emblem of the 2018 FIFA World Cup takes on the universally-recognisable outline of the FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, while the bold use of red, gold, black and blue in the Emblem’s colour palette was inspired by centuries-old techniques seen in world-renowned Russian art dating back to the earliest Icon paintings.”
Look closely at the logo and the picture in the background, and you will see it represents a lot of things.
