Dragon's Dogma, the popular third person open world RPG game from Capcom, will be released for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One in October. The news comes via the game’s official Twitter account.
The game was originally launched for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012, and was followed by the Dark Arisen expansion pack in 2013. And in 2016, Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen was released for Windows on Steam, and earlier this year a DRM-Free version made its way on to GOG. Dragon's Dogma for the PS4 and Xbox One 5 years, comes 5 years after the game made its debut.
The game has some unique elements such as being able to level up and change your character's class (Vocation) and skills in the game. You don't have to explore the world alone, as the Arisen (your hero) will always be accompanied by your main pawn (humanoid minion) whom you can customize and you can hire two extra non-customizable pawns to travel along side you and help you in your battles. You can easily invest over a 100 hours in Dragon's Dogma.
If you like open world games like Gothic, Elder Scrolls Skyrim (Or Oblivion or Morrowind), or Witcher, and are looking for a similar game, you should definitely give Dragon's Dogma a try. It has dragons (dragons), wyverns, wyrms, cyclopses, gargolyes, undead, skeletons, goblins, wolfs, harpies, bandits, gryffins, chimeras and a whole bunch of different enemies each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Dragon's Dogma for the PS4 and Xbox One is coming on October 3rd. And it is reported that it will cost $29.99.
