Blizzard is offering a 50% discount off the price of its brilliant action role-playing video game, Diablo III and its expansion, The Reaper of Souls.
Both games are now available for $19.99 each from the developer's online store.
It is not an unusual sale, the company does this every few months. But it is a great boon for gamers in India. Here, the game retails from around Rs. 2,500 and up to Rs. 3,500, which is about $55. That is over $15 above the regular price which Blizzard sells the game for. In comparison, the current price of 20 USD translates to just about Rs. 1,300. Since this game is not available through other channels, I think the current price is a great deal.
The game itself will be delivered as a digital download, which requires you to install the Battle.Net client.
It is worth noting that Diablo III requires an internet connection to play, even if you just want to play the Single Player mode. You need to be logged into your Battle.net account to play the game, this is Blizzard's anti-piracy mechanism, and has proven to be effective.
