Coolpad Cool Play 6 with Snapdragon 653, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras, 4000mAh battery launched for Rs. 14,999 in India

Coolpad has launched a new phone, called the Cool Play 6, in India. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor, with 6GB of RAM and an Adreno 510 GPU.

The Cool Play 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Journey UI on top, and the company has said that it will be releasing the Android 8.0 update for the phone in the 3rd quarter of the year. The phone sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display, which has a pixel density of 403 PPI. The phone has 64GB of internal memory, with no option for expandable storage. The mobile does have Dual SIM cards, but is not a Hybrid SIM slot.

There is a fingerprint scanner on the back panel of the Cool Play 6. The device has dual rear cameras of 13 megapixels resolution each, with an f/2.0 aperture, Dual tone LED Flash and support for PDAF. The selfie lens on the Cool Play 6 is an 8 megapixels front camera, with an f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity support on the device includes 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.1. The device weighs 175 grams because it packs a 4,000 mAh battery, with a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging the device.

The Cool Play 6 has a metal body with minimal bezels, and measures at   152.4 × 75.2 × 8.45mm.

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 has been priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be available from September 4th, exclusively from Amazon India. the phone will be available in Gold and Black colours.
