Microsoft has officially announced that the remake of the classic RTS, Age of Empires Definitive Edition will be launched on October 19th. But there is a catch.
The game will be launched exclusively for Windows 10, meaning you can only get it from the Windows Store.
It is not the first time that Microsoft has done this. It did so with Quantum Break, Halo Wars: Definitive Edition and Halo Wars 2. But the Redmond company released the first 2 games on Steam, while the newer Halo Wars wasn't. So, we can possibly expect a release of Age of Empires Definitive Edition on Steam as well, but it may be released few months later.
And here is a brand new trailer of Age Of Empires Definitive Edition from Gamescom 2017.
The game features remastered 4K graphics, increased population limits (250-300), better zoom levels, an improved interface and a new soundtrack. Other features include (rally points normal and for villagers). select Idle Military, select Idle Villagers, unit queuing, and right-click mouse scroll.
You can pre-order Age Of Empires Definitive Edition from the Windows Store for Rs. 574. ($19.99 in the U.S)
