Microsoft has done the impossible. The Redmond company has announced what every RTS gamer has wanted for years, by announcing Age Of Empires IV. No, this is not a joke.
The game will be made by Relic Entertainment, which has experience with RTS games such as the Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War franchises, Impossible Creatures (also a Microsoft game), and Homeworld 1 and 2. So, we can expect a polished game from the company. The game will apparently be exclusive to Windows 10, according to the video trailer.
Here is the announcement trailer for Age of Empires IV. But the video doesn’t tell you what the new game will feature, its more of a what the other games have been about so far, kind of thing.
Sadly there is nothing else we know about the game for now. But that is not all. Microsoft has announced that it will also release remastered versions of the previous 2 games in the franchise, i.e., Age of Empires II Definitive Edition and Age of Empires III Definitive Edition will be launched.
Once again, we do not know when these games will be released. For now, why don't you head over to our previous article to read when Age of Empires Definitive Edition will be launched, and how you can pre-order it.
