The Flipkart Big Shopping Days December 2017 sale is set to run from this week, from the 7th to 9th, and the e-tailer has posted some sneak peek pages for the upcoming deals. The sale will bring discounts for many popular mobile phones, game consoles, electronics, fashion and other products.
The Pixel 2 will be discounted, possible at a substantial rate, during the sale. Why? Well, Flipkart has taken a dig at Amazon India and OnePlus, with a banner which says that the Pixel 2 vs OnePlus 5T is a no brainer.
The OnePlus 5T retails for Rs.32,999 and Rs. 37,999 for the 64GB storage variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage/8GB RAM respectively. So, the price of the Pixel 2 has to be in this range.
According to an image (courtesy Avinash from AndroidPure), the Pixel 2 will be sold at Rs. 39,999 or lower. It is worth noting that the Pixel 2 retails for Rs. 61,000 for the 64GB variant in India. So, this actually a pretty big no brainer.
The Samsung Galaxy S7, which is still a great flagship even today, will be sold for Rs. 29,999. And you can get an extra Rs. 5,000 on exchange of older phones for the S7.The current exchange rate for many phones sit at Rs. 3000, so it is likely the exchange offer will be like 3k + 5k = Rs. 8,000, which is a really awesome deal.
The Xiaomi Mi A1, will be available for Rs. 12,999, which is Rs. 2,000 off of its regular price (Rs 14,999). Flipkart hints that the Redmi Note 4, and some iPhones will be discounted as well.
Xiaomi's self-proclaimed "Desh Ka Smartphone", the Redmi 5A, will be sold for Rs. 4,999 for the first 5 million buyers, and it debuts during the sale, at 12 noon on December 7th. The Apple iPhone X will be on stock during the sale with limited stocks. The Infinix Zero 5 Pro priced at Rs. 19,999 will also go on sale at the same time. The Galaxy On Nxt 3GB/64GB variant will be on sale for Rs. 12,900 (usually Rs. 17.900), while the Moto C Plus (2GB/16GB) will be available for Rs. 5,999 (usually Rs. 6,999).
Flipkart will be offering a Buy Back Guarantee (for a fee of Rs. 99), which allows you to exchange phones which you buy for 50% off their original cost, when you upgrade in the future.
Other devices which will go on sale include Gaming Laptops from ASUS and MSI, Xbox One S, PS4, and PC/PS4/Xbox games. Flipkart says that the discounts are never before seen prices, but we have to wait for the sale before judging that.
Flipkart also seems to be offering a 10% Instant Discount for State Bank of India credit card users during the December Sale. There will be No Cost EMI offers.
