Having a backup is always good, whether it is about the phone or about the computer. Here comes a new application from Microsoft for the Windows Phone Users. Application named contacts+message backup will help windows phones users to take backup of the Contacts and messages and restore it when requires.
Contacts + Message Backup app is a Settings app that enables you to make backup of all your contacts (in VCF format) and messages (SMS & MMS including attachments) to SD card (in XML format) for later restore to same or another Windows Phone.
This application is available on the Windows phone store. Unlike other applications, this application will not be displayed on the application list, instead will be shown under the settings.
If you are using a dual SIM phone, restoring of messages will restore all the messages to the message store of the first SIM.
