After announcing the launch date of the OnePlus 5, the company has now declared when the device will be unveiled in India. The OnePlus 5 India launch will take place on June 22nd, in India, the company has announced on its official website today.
That is not too bad, as the local launch is just 2 days after the global announcement.
What is more interesting, is that there is a special event for the OnePlus 5 India launch, which will take place in Mumbai. This is a first for the company, which usually takes to announcing new phones online, instead of holding a proper offline launch event. The tagline for the event, or perhaps for the phone itself, is “Focus on what matters”. This is probably a hint for the dual rear cameras, which was leaked in a report earlier today. You can see from the above image, that the camera is focusing on a specific portion of the area, which appears to be a tad sharper than the rest of the picture.We only have to wait for a fortnight, to find out how the camera performance is.
The OnePlus 5 will be launched on June 22nd, at 14:00 in India.
