The LG V30+ has been officially launched in India. The phone was originally unveiled at IFA 2017, in Berlin, before its debut in India.
The device sports a 6.0-inch 18:9 OLED FullVision display, with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels (QHD+) and a pixel density of 538 ppi, which supports an always-on display, a floating bar and Knock Code.
The LG V30+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, an Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The phone has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and supports up to 2TB of expandable memory via a microSD card slot.
The V30+ features dual rear cameras with a 16 megapixels 71° standard angle lens, with an f/1.6 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), hybrid autofocus with Phase Detect Auto Focus (PDAF) and Laser autofocus. It is accompanied by a 13 megapixels 120° wide angle lens, with an f/1.9 aperture.The front camera is a 5 megapixels 90° wide angle selfie lens, with an f/2.2 aperture. The phone has a 32-bit Hi-Fi Qaud DAC from Bang & Olufsen, a 3.5mm audio jack and a single speaker grille.
The device is backed by a 3,300 mah battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless Charging.
The phone has a metal frame with a glass back, a heatpipe, a cooling pad and weighs 158g, and measures 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3mm, and is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, and MIL-STD 810G compliant. The LG V30+ supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible).
The LG V30+ has been priced at Rs. 44,990 in India. The company is offering a free wireless charger (worth Rs. 3,000), B&O Play earphones, and a one-time free screen replacement along with some free in-app purchases on the Beat Fever app.
The LG V30 will be available in 4 colours: Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet.
