Ashampoo released an application Ashampoo  Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker, which is a portable  exe file (you need not to install it to use it).  You can get the application from this link (compatible with Windows 7 or higher). Just open it and click the “Start Security check” button

So what are the precautions you should take?

1. Update Bios

2.  Update your browsers

3. Update Drivers

4. Update Operating systems

5. Have a good security software

6. Handle Websites and Email attachments carefully.

Windows, Mac, iOS and Android updates are available already which will fix the Spectre security flaws. Android phones from manufacturers other than Google may have to wait for the updates while Google released updates for  Nexus 5X, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
