After launching the Honor 7X, Huawei’s subsidiary company also unveiled a new flagship phone, called the Honor V10 aka the View 10. The Honor V10 sports a 6.0-inch 2160 x 1080 FullHD+ Full View display, with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and is the first phone from the company to run on EMUI based on Android 8 Oreo.
The device is powered by Huawei’s octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage. The phone has an AI chip for its Neural Processing Unit. This will help the phone take better photos, and also improve the user experience by optimizing the device for the user’s needs.
The V10 features dual cameras on the rear with a 17MP RGB sensor, and a 20 MP monochrome sensor, and a 13MP selfie lens.
The Honor V10 has a fingerprint scanner on the front panel, and also supports Face Unlock. The device does have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type C port which can charge the 3,750 mAh battery up to 50% in 30 minutes.
Th Honor V10 has been priced at £449.99 in the UK (about $605 or Rs. 38,999) and will be available in the US, Europe and India. The V10 comes in 2 colours: Midnight Black and Navy Blue. The phone will be available globally from January 8th, 2018.
