AnVir Task Manager is a useful tool which can help you monitor running programs including hidden processes, services, startup programs, and also your CPU usage and HDD temperature.
The free version of AnVir has a few limitations compared to the Standard and Pro versions.

Chip.de are offering AnVir Task Manager worth $29.95 for free as part of their Chrismas Adventskalender.
Even though the website says the software is in German, the installer supports English too.
Visit the promo page here, and click on the “Zum Download” button.
Wait for the page to load, and then click on the “ Download-Server CHIP Online” button.
Run the downloaded file to initiate the setup process.
Warning: The installer offers to download a third party app called Reg Organizer. Uncheck the option during the installation process to skip installing that app.
After it has finished installing AnVir Task Manager, run the app. Navigate to Help > Enter Registration Key.
You will notice that the fields for the Name and the Key are already filled in, press ok and it will restart the app. Check the license validity under Help> enter Registration Key.
It should display that it is registered to CHIP and offers updates upto September 2014.
