Freedom 251 which claims to be the worlds cheapest smart phone, later too many issues raised by many websites and even a member of parliament, regarding credibility of the phone and its manufacturers. The company is giving away the phone for just INR 251 with out any subsidies from the Government agencies and planning to sell around 2,50,000 units.
When the company started to take booking, the site went down and so many could not able to book the device, later the company started registration and very few able to book the device and others got a message saying a email with purchase details will be send to the registered email id, etc, but many does not received any email.
Later The Ringing Bells, the company behind the Freedom 251 posted on their twitter that , they will provide payment gateway details and you need to make the payment through that

Now just 3 hours before the company posted a new twitter status saying they will be doing a COD (Cash on delivery) on the Freedom 251. That is you will have to pay the amount only when you receive the device. The status image says

By this, you, our esteemed Customer, will be required to make payment only when the phone is delivered to you.
