All the other contents will be loaded after the main content. I don't know whether this is an old thing or not, but for me it was a new thing and, i just changed my site template according to this.
If you are using only div, then i think the first thing to be loaded should be the div with the main page content.
If you are using div to design intead of table, it is always better to load the main content section first in the html.
