Moto G5 to be launched on April 4th in India, as an Amazon exclusive

Recently somebody reported that the Moto G will be launched soon in India. He also predicated that it could be an Amazon exclusive, as Motorola (with the G5 Plus) appears to be following Xiaomi's footsteps of selling the Redmi Note 4 on Flipkart, and the Redmi 4A on Amazon. That person is yours truly, of course.

Moto G5 India launch date

To be honest, I didn't expect that to be a 100% accurate, but I'm sure glad it is true. But more importantly, we finally have a launch date for the Moto G5 in India. The budget friendly version of the Lenovo owned company’s device, will be launched on April 4th, as is evidenced by the listing on Amazon India’s website. The launch is exactly a week from now, and you can sign up to be notified for when it is available. Motorola usually announces the phones, and makes them available for sale, from midnight of the same day, so we can expect the company to follow that tradition, along with some launch day offers.

What we really hope to see, is the cool-looking Sapphire Blue version of the Moto G5, which was leaked recently. While it has been confirmed for Europe, it may do well alongside the Lunar Grey and Fine Gold versions, in India.
