Whether you want to update the firmware, create custom profiles, or switch between them, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know.

What’s New?

The "PlayStation Accessories" app has undergone a significant transformation. Here’s a quick overview of what’s new:

  • New Name: The app is now called "PlayStation Accessories."
  • Custom Profiles: You can create, edit, and switch between custom profiles for your DualSense Edge controller on your PC.
  • Improved Design: The app now has a more user-friendly design and overall better experience.

System Requirements

Before you start, make sure your PC meets the following system requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11
  • Storage: At least 250 MB of free space
  • Display Resolution: 1280 x 800 or higher

To connect your controller, you’ll need either a USB cable or Bluetooth. Ensure your PC has a compatible USB port or Bluetooth capability. If your PC doesn’t have Bluetooth, you can use a commercially available Bluetooth USB adapter, but keep in mind that not all adapters may be supported.

Connecting Your Controller

Wired Connection

  1. Use a USB Cable:
    • Plug the USB cable into the USB Type-C port on your controller.
    • Make sure your PC has a USB port compatible with the USB cable.

Wireless Connection

  1. Disconnect the USB Cable: If you’re using a USB cable, disconnect it.
  2. Turn Off the Player Indicator:
    • If the player indicator on your controller is on, press and hold the PS button until it turns off.
  3. Enter Pairing Mode:
    • While holding down the create button, press and hold the PS button until the light bar on the controller starts blinking.
  4. Enable Bluetooth on PC:
    • On your Windows PC, turn on Bluetooth and select the option to add Bluetooth devices.
    • Your PC will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
  5. Select Your Controller:
    • From the list of found Bluetooth devices, select your controller.
    • Once pairing is complete, the light bar will blink, and the player indicator will light up.
  6. Disconnecting and Reconnecting:
    • To disconnect, press and hold the PS button until the player indicator turns off.
    • To reconnect, simply press the PS button, and the controller will reconnect to the last paired PC.

Note: Your controller can only be paired with one device at a time. If you want to connect it to a different device, you’ll need to repeat the pairing process.
