Hotmail is providing a new feature to all users. SMS alert. I received an email from the hotmail support team. You can set when you want to receive SMS (or you don't want to receive SMS). You can change the settings or leave it as is. You will be able to reply to an email by sending an SMS.. You will see a screen like below when you login for the first time,
