Electronic Arts, have made their popular third person shooter free at their Origin store.
The horror game was first released in 2008, and was critically acclaimed for its haunting gameplay.
EA have announced that they are giving this game away, as part of their “On the House” promo, where they giveaway full games without any limitations whatsoever. This is absolutely amazing and we can expect more giveaways from them.

- 2.8 GHz processor or equivalent
- 1 GB RAM (XP), 2 GB RAM (Vista)
- NVIDIA GeForce 6800 or better (7300, 7600 GS, and 8500 are below minimum system requirements)
- ATI X1600 Pro or better (X1300, X1300 Pro and HD2400 are below minimum system requirements)
- 256MB Video Card and Shader Model 3.0 required
- The latest version of DirectX 9.0c
- At least 7.5GB of hard drive space for installation, plus additional space for saved games.
Dead Space, normally costs around $10, but you can get it for free until May 8th from the Origin page.
Note: You can only get them if you have an Origin account (registration is free), and the game client installed on your PC.
