The Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition has been confirmed for PX, PS4 and Xbox One today. Bethesda Game Studios made the announcement today, that a complete package of the post-nuclear open world adventure game will be released in September.
This GOTY edition will include Survival mode, graphical enhancements, and all six of the official add-ons:
- Far Harbor
- Vault-Tec Workshop
- Contraptions Workshop
- Nuka-World
- Wasteland Workshop
- Automatron
- High Resolution Texture Pack (free)
So, basically this is the season pass and the game bundled together. But given the price (mentioned below), we think this may be a good deal. Why? Because the base game costs $29.99 and the Season Pass costs $49.99, without discounts. Hopefully existing owners of Fallout 4 will see a discount for the Season Pass too. The previous lowest price of the season pass was around $29.99 on Steam ($24 on third party sites) while the base game’s lowest price has been $14.99 ($13 on third-party sites). If you have the base game, wait for a sale on the season pass.
Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition has been priced at $59.99 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is available for pre-order from Amazon.com. There is a limited edition Fallout 4 GOTY Pip-Boy collector editions, for North America which will include a wearable pip-boy, a pocket guide, a poster and the game for $99.99.
