Square Enix has made the latest game in its Cyberpunk game franchise, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, free to play on Steam until Thursday, October 26th. The game is on sale for 75% off, and so are the Season Pass and Deluxe Editions.
The sale is a bit odd for two reasons. One, if you own some of the prior games, you can complete the Deus Ex Collection, which includes Deus Ex The Fall (previous game in the series), Mankind Divided and its Season Pass, it is 81% off, which is cheaper than buying the Season pass alone for 67% off, or the game and the season pass for 72%. And of course it costs only a little bit more than buying the game alone.
The other oddity, is the timing of the sale, which is one day before the Steam Halloween Sale begins. The game requires a 20GB and 52GB of storage space on your hard drive.
Be warned that the Season Pass contains some one-time use only items such as Praxis Kits, Credits, Ammo, Weapons etc., which cannot be used even for a second play-through. However it does give you the System Rift and A Criminal Past story DLCs, so its good.
