The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch on October 25 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Developed by Beenox in partnership with Treyarch Studios, the game will be available for purchase on the Microsoft Store, Battle.net, and Steam. Ahead of its release, Activision has revealed the system requirements for PC gamers, as well as key information about the game’s features and launch timeline.

Minimum and Recommended PC Requirements

To run Black Ops 6 on PC, players will need a machine with at least 8 GB of RAM and 102 GB of available SSD storage. The minimum CPU requirements are either an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-6600. For graphics, players will need at least a Radeon RX 470, GeForce GTX 960, or Intel Arc A580, each equipped with a minimum of 2 GB of VRAM.

For optimal performance, Activision recommends at least 12 GB of RAM and a stronger graphics card such as the Radeon RX 6600XT, GTX 1080Ti, or RTX 3060, each offering 8 GB of VRAM. To push the game to its limits and enjoy it at 4K resolution with Ultra settings, a higher-end setup is required. Game Features and Modes

Activision also released a new gameplay trailer to build excitement for the PC launch. While the trailer does not introduce any groundbreaking new elements, it confirms several key aspects that fans of the series will appreciate. Like its predecessors, Black Ops 6 will feature a single-player campaign, a multiplayer mode, and the beloved round-based cooperative Zombies mode.

The storyline is set in the early 1990s, right after the events of Black Ops Cold War. Players will follow two rogue operatives, Troy Marshall and Frank Woods, as they take on a secret organization called the Pantheon, which has infiltrated the CIA. The blend of historical settings with a modern twist continues to be a staple of the Black Ops series.

Crossplay Support and Pre-Loading

A notable feature in Black Ops 6 is crossplay, which allows players across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation to play together, enhancing the multiplayer experience. This cross-platform functionality has become a standard for the franchise, ensuring that gamers can connect and compete regardless of their chosen platform.

For those who have pre-ordered the game, pre-loading will begin on October 21 at 9 AM PT. This will include all parts of the game: the campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies. PC players will see a regional rollout starting on October 24, between 4 AM PT and 11 PM PT. However, for those using Battle.net and Steam, the official release time is set for 9 PM PT on October 24.

With its detailed system requirements and crossplay support, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is shaping up to be another major hit in the long-running franchise. Gamers across platforms can look forward to an action-packed experience that continues the legacy of this fan-favorite series.
