The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the XOLO Era X, is here. The company announced the launch of the updated operating system, today, on Twitter.
The phone was originally launched with Android 5.1 Lollipop, in February 2016.
Its good to see an Indian OEM, take responsibility to update its device, to a newer one, and that to an entry level phone. This rarely ever happens. But its worth nnoting that Xolo had released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for XOLO Era 4G, earlier this month.
Now, back to the news about the Xolo Era X, there are no details about the special features which the update brings, as no change log is available as of yet. We couldn’t find any links to the latest firmware on Xolo’s software page either. But once you get the update, you can expect Marshmallow's basic features such as Doze mode, App permissions, and the like. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for XOLO Era X is rolling out, and should be available on your devices. If you can’t wait for the update to reach your device, you can manually check for the update by navigating to the Settings > About Phone > Software Update screen.
