In a major development Saavn becomes the Exclusive Music Streaming Service for Amazon's Alexa in India. Amazon recently launched the Amazon Echo in India which works with the famous voice assistant Alexa. Saavn is one of the most famous online streaming entertainment platform, founded in 2007, Saavn is India’s leading digital music streaming service, which offers 36 Million tracks in 15 languages.
To listen to your favorite music on Saavn, all Amazon Echo users need to do is ask Alexa to play a song of their choice. Users can ask the voice assistant to play a song by its title, an entire playlist from their favorite singers or composers, or play the music album for a particular movie. Alexa also enables users to search for and stream songs by genre like rock, party, hip-hop etc., as well as the actors who have featured in them. Saavn’s top playlists, such as Road Trip and Golden Ghazals, can also be streamed by users through Alexa.
This seems to be a nice option as I was waiting for my Echo to be delivered by this weekend, that can be used for listening to my favorite Music.
All Alexa-equipped products from Amazon will come pre-enabled with Saavn and will begin shipping country-wide today, October 31, 2017.
